The Old New // Spacieux condo de 2000 pi² - Centre-Ville

The space is great and the rooms/areas are exactly as in the picture! Very clean apartment, comfortable beds, and nice linens. The host was also super responsive and quick to reply. It’s a great space for groups!The one thing to mention is that it’s not ideal for elderly or anyone that is uneasy with/can’t do stairs. There’s a larger staircase to get up to the apartment and there’s a very steep and narrow staircase to get down to the 2 full bathrooms and the 3 main bedrooms. We couldn’t bring our large suitcases downstairs (we were there for a 2 week cruise so had very large suitcases!) but carry on’s were fine to get down. Just something to note! 1 set of our parents (ages 70 & 72) weren’t comfortable going down those steps, but my husband and I were! We all loved the living room and dining room and how much space we had to spread out!

We had a wonderful stay in Quebec City and the VRBO worked great for the 3 couples in our group. Check in was easy and the host was responsive. It was a great combo of old historic charm with updated amenities. The well stocked kitchen allowed lots of traffic and bedrooms were spacious. It was especially nice to have 2 full baths downstairs (one houses a washer and dryer) and a half bath upstairs. There are many restaurants and a sizeable food market within a 5 minute walk. It is a 15-20 minute walk to Old Quebec (so much to see there!) BUT steep hills/stairs to climb so you might look for the free public elevator about 3 blocks away that is a great shortcut. A few things that were fine but weren't clear to me before arriving - there are 3 bedrooms in the basement which is a little unusual but it was quiet and I liked that. There is also a curtained off bedroom on the main level. Also, there is another apartment above the unit and I feared it would make things noisy but it did not. Finally, parking is a challenge but that was offset by the fact that there is much to do within walking distance. One suggestion for the rental is that it would have been nice to have one more comfy chair in the living room area.

The property was as described and was in an excellent location within the City. There were several good restaurants in the immediate area and a special shout out to Nina Pizza just down the street. Malstrom just about next door had great lattes and breakfast options. If you are staying in Quebec City, you can’t go wrong.

Super comfortable for a big group! I visited with my family of 9… and we were all really comfortable.. the social spaces are spacious, and the condo had everything you needed. There is a great cafe very close by that has great breakfasts. For the old city you can uber easily, or walk about 20 mins … it is a bit of a hike but totally doable. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!
