Golden Cross // Typical old Quebec appartement

Comfortable, lovely, well-located apartment in Quebec city. Easy to walk anywhere you want to go. Positive: Jean-Charles was an incredibly responsive host. He answered all of our questions in a timely fashion. His suggestions of restaurants and places to go for forest skating were spot-on! The apartment was very comfortable. The location was very walkable and the parking was great. There was on street parking after 5pm and a lot just a block away that you could come and go as you pleased. It was only $20 CAD/day. Negative: My only issue was a lack of surfaces in the larger bedroom. There was only one small side table between the beds. The other 2 rooms had small shelving units to put things on or in. The overhead lighting was great, but a standing lamp in the living room would have been great for reading, etc. . .

Exactly as described. Wonderful walking neighborhood, close to the action of Winter Carnaval with Maelstrom coffee shop and La Cuisine bistro (excellent French Onion soup!) so very close, eclectic, and delicious!

Everything was comfortable and clean. We had a lovely stay. Positive: The host was easy to communicate with prior to our stay. All questions were answered quickly. The property was cozy and clean. Entry was a breeze. We had everything we needed for a great stay. Parking across the street was really handy. Location was perfect.
